Bib-dating is Dutch for “library dating.” 300 librarians across Brussels and Flanders have been trained to host library dating sessions where they offer participants wine, books and a good opportunity to meet other single bookworms. Apparently the board of libraries is responsible for authorizing and keeping track of name changes to state-owned property. This is why the state librarian is commenting on the dispute on a pond name change. It’s an old story but one that I came across in my Googling for town websites to help flesh out Wikipedia’s Vermont town pages.

The Missouri Botanical Garden is tagging the illustrations in their collection using volunteers and a shared del.icio.us account. They call this approach TagSwarming.
