I have no idea how Meredith writes as much and as cogently as she does. As I have been sputtering around thinking about DOPA, she’s helping solve the problem. Remember how I said you really need to learn about this social software thing, before they make laws that you don’t understand about tools you’ve never used? Go, right now, and read her well thought out and well-researched post about Libraries and Social Networking Software. If you’re on facebook or myspace, look me up and poke me.

MySpace error or too many weird people?
Posting this as a comment so others don’t have to go through 147 Jessamyns to reach the same result. Thanks for the link to Meredith’s blog.
If other readers of librarian.net want to add me, I can be found at http://www.myspace.com/alaskanlibrarian
I also found tons o’ Jessamyns on myspace and my regular search techniques weren’t working very well. I took a stab at http://myspace.com/iamthebestartist and found you! I didn’t get the error Daniel mentioned; I was able to request you as a friend. Now, as to when you will feel that poke, since you haven’t logged on since last week, that’s another story…. :)
