day four
The day four pictures are up and viewable. It's a total zoo here. It's hot and there's a few free seats up here sometime so all these pushy Democrats with "do you know who I AM?" attitudes are telling all sorts of stories about why they should be sitting here. The Daily Show was by making fun of everyone, then apologizing once the cameras were off. I'm going to be heading somewhere far from here to take in the rest of the speeches [as many of my colleagues have already done] and have some sort of useful wrap up tonight or tomorrow. Posted by jessamyn at July 29, 2004 07:03 PMenjoyed your post and photo's. thanks for keeping the rest of us informed as you and the others have been doing very well. its been a great source of information and is very exciting to have access to the perspective you and others are able to share, even when or if it may not seem like there is a lot for some of you to blog about, at least you are there to let us know what we would see and experience if we were there ourselves -- which is not what we usually get from the mainstream press and media (this is why some of them and the politico's are intimitated by having bloggers around; particularly those who are non-professional or at least not part of the corporate think). certainly do not blame you for doing as some of the other bloggers have done and be elsewhere during some of the speeches, as I had figured such would be the case, plus this was what I was picking up from some blog posts from of the other lofty convention bloggers as well. be safe and enjoy!

Hey, it was good to meet you! (The four-eyed bearded guy on what I believe was Canal Street; I asked about your shirt.) Great pics. I wish I could have been informed of the blogger section sooner. Ah, well.
